I kept seeing advertising for this product and wasn’t sure at first. Then I took a dive to buy it and so glad I did. The minute you plugged it into my car it worked instantly. Solid addition to any car that doesn't have standard wireless CarPlay
If you have a car that's new enough to have CarPlay equipped with its infotainment system and it isn't wireless by default (surprisingly a ton of them), then this thing is a no-brainer.
Compared to the dongle I had initially for getting wireless CarPlay in my 2021 RAV4 (that dongle being the Carlinkit), this one is leaps and bounds above that other dongle.
With the other dongle, it would take about twice the time, and sometimes, it would even hang when trying to find my phone to make the wireless CarPlay connection. No such thing has happened with this one though!
Overall, I feel like you can't go wrong with this! If you're like me and have a car that still in this day and age only has wired CarPlay, get this, as wireless is the way CarPlay should be!

I now have the PAIRR Wireless Carplay Adapter in my Maverick XLT and find it very satisfactory. I had tried two other brands and they both failed to connect. The PAIRR connected flawlessly and works fine. I've got my Pairr device connected to a short cable (USB-C) and fastened to the underside of the dash above the console tray with a 3-M Command strip. Overall, I'm very happy with the PAIRR device and find it worth the cost. I also use a Cheotech wireless charger in my console tray connected to the USB-A and it works great with my iPhone XS. So, toss the phone on the charger and go. Just what I wanted.

Will this work in my car?
If your vehicle has a factory-installed wired CarPlay unit - Yes! This also applies for vehicles that have wired and wireless CarPlay connections. Vehicles with only wireless CarPlay connection are not supported.
Do I have to sync the adapter every time I use it?
Nope! After you set it up, your phone will pair with it as soon as you start the car, every time.
Does it use WiFi or Bluetooth? I don't have WiFi in my car?
Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works solely on WiFi from that point on
Will it work with my iPhone?
Yes, it works every iPhone from the 6 (running iOS 10) all the way up to the 15 Pro Max.
If I have two phones, which will it choose?
You can use either phone, but if you have both in the car, it will connect to the last paired phone.
Does it come with instructions?
As a plug-and-play solution, the Pairr is very easy to install.
- Turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi networks on your phone.
- Make sure your phone is not connected to any other WiFi or Bluetooth networks and remove the hands-free connection from your phone and car system settings.
- Plug the adapter into the CarPlay USB port.
- Wait for the interface to appear on the screen.
- Go to your phone's bluetooth devices and find name starting with AUTO-xx, tap on it.
- Select "Pair" on your phone when the notification appears.
- Select Use CarPlay once the notification appears.
How do I update it?
- Connect your phone to the adapter and wait until CarPlay appears on the screen.
- Enter 192.168.1.101 in your browser and click “Go.”
- If you see an update available, click it.
- Wait until the update bar reaches 100%.
- When CarPlay reappears on the screen, you’re done!
How long does it take for the Pairr unit connect?
It depends on your phone and car, but it usually takes 7-14 seconds.
How long will it take for my items to arrive?
It will usually take 5-10 business days for all orders to arrive. Shipping times vary based on customer location, season and shipping location.
Will I receive a confirmation number when I place my order?

The Pairr Max would not initiate and constantly reboots itself.
Have a 2022 C Class with wired CarPlay/Android Auto.
Works seamlessly with both.
Android Auto is very impressive as the wired version (without PAIRR) the screen isn’t fully utilised. With PAIRR it’s fully used and works really well.
CarPlay is pretty pretty good

1. Not sure if MB or PAIRR but even if its Android seems to say the initial interface is CarPlay but in fact it’s android.
2. When I use a hotspot for my phone - connecting is showing “forever” - not a blocker.

Not very good or as advertised. Frequently drops connection, very laggy and often stops responding. 10/10 wouldn’t suggest
I bought the top of the range Pairr device and it’s useless. When using any GPS app (Waze or google maps) the location of the car is never where it should be therefore making constant reroutings and never being able to use the navigation system.
Problem with google maps or other GPS in Car Play mode.
It's horrible. Completely freaks out my car computer. I had to disconnect. Wtf
This device actually works. I was affraid that it wouldn't be up to parwith what I had in mind but it matched. Connection works well and it functions great with all the buttons and dials in the car. My only issue is that at times I have issues streaming items such as youtube. The song will play and after a minute it would stop and nothing would happen then I'd have to restart the car or the fact that when an ad pops up on YouTube the actual Youtube Ap stops responding. Another thing is that I would have liked it if I could have added more Andoid apps onto the device. For some reason I couldn't manage putting other apps.
All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and hope there would be an update to the software.
My phone is iPhone with constantly updated iOS.
Initial pairing was easy. According to manual.
Manual could be better.
The idea behind Pairr is a great idea.
However, I have a constant issue with phone disconnecting. especially during calls. Furthermore, EVERY TIME that I have an incoming call while I am on another call, the call disappears from the Pairr and I have to look for the phone while driving and utilize the speaker.
These are very disturbing phenomena and value for money is very low
