As long as you only have one device to connect, this is great solution to the hassle of having to plug in your phone to use Android Auto. However, if you generally have more than one device that connects to the vehicle, it becomes a bit of a challenge.
Example: Wife typically drives the car and uses phone A. Husband will occasionally drive the car (with phone B) while phone A isn't present. While the device will connect to the last phone connected (generally phone A), needing to change that device (to phone B) can be a bit tricky.
If connecting to phone A, the device is quick to pair, but to connect to phone B, before starting the car, you have to turn Bluetooth and WiFi off on phone A, start the car, wait for phone B to connect, and then you can turn Bluetooth and Wifi back on on phone A. If you want to connect back to phone A, you have to reverse the process. While this seems like an easy process, it's a bit of a challenge to remember when you jump in the car in the morning (with phone A) to go to work and forget to tell owner of phone B to turn off their Bluetooth and WiFi before you start the car. If you forget to tell them, the device will quickly grab their phone connection and leave phone A out in the cold...even after driving away and losing connection to phone B. It takes a complete vehicle restart and fiddling with phone A to get it to reconnect with the device.
We've simply found it easier to simply never connect to phone B, and deal with the inconvenience of not being connected to Android Auto if phone A isn't in the car.

I like that it provided wireless capability for CarPlay, which added extra icons to my car dash.

My only complaint is that it sometimes disconnects, while I’m driving. Not often enough, though.

Overall, a good product.

top product, easy to use and set up

This is a very useful gadget, no more having to connect the cable each time. The connection is quick and seems to be very stable. The only issue I have is with the device keeping the connection even after the vehicle was turned off. Partly a problem from the vehicle because the USBs are constantly powered, but there should be something that could be adjusted in the device. The inconvenience comes when I arrive home and the media from my phone is still connected to the vehicle, so I have to turn off bluetooth and/or disconnect Pairr. Otherwise, it's a great gadget!

I like it for my Volvo and i use it with my Samsun phone but i find that it uses a ton of the phones battery. Otherwise i love it

Doesn't pair with multiple devices. So pairing back and forth ecomes cumbersome and makes the device glitch and not load at times. When it works slight lag in network/input and have tried to update but fails to load with IP address given in instruction manual. Reached out to support but have still not gotten a response.

When plugged in for android auto it seems to use the cars apple play and converts it to android auto. While this does allow the pairr to go full screen on the subaru legacys 11.5 in screen it looks like its the same interface stretched out

The device is great when it fulfills it's purpose. However many times it takes tooooolong to connect or does not connect at all. I have had to pair it with the vehicle multiple times. Apple car play loads to my screen and I use an android.

Also, if you use your phone as a hotspot for children to have Wi-Fi for their devices, you cannot do both, wireless Android Auto and hotspot, at the same time as the device needs to connect to your phone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to work.
